Description
These great egrets were fishing in the mangroves in Costa Rica. I was so excited to be able to watch them deftly catch fish, and also delighted when my photographs were sharp enough to use as reference for this painting. The egret as a symbol refers to self-reliance, determination, balance, spirituality and your innate wisdom. An egret is sharp, direct and to the point. An egret represents following your own path.
