Airborne

The works in this series are my “odes” to the feathered majesty of birds. I never tire of observing and capturing my impressions of them, as they never fail to inspire awe. Birds are rich in symbolism, often representing freedom, transformation, and resilience in art and literature. Their keen intelligence and curious nature endear them to me deeply. While many of the birds in this series are species I’ve encountered firsthand in North America or Costa Rica—either through photography or direct observation—others are imagined, allowing me to explore the full spectrum of avian wonder. My solo show “Reverie” featured a series of these paintings.
