Sometimes inspiration is sitting right in your hands, but you are not looking at it. Sometimes inspiration comes to you in a dream, sideways. This work has a tremendous amount of depth and richness of colour due to the glazing and layers.

The blue colour of the blue morpho is often thought to symbolize healing, whether it be personal healing or the healing of someone close to you, or as a wish-granter. The Monarch butterflies particularly signal a time for personal change and internal change, emphasising changes of perspective and how we perceive our place in the world and our contentment within it.
