Rubies on the Wing

I love hummingbirds of all kinds, and always keep my eyes open anywhere I go in case I am lucky enough to spend time observing one. They are delicate but incredibly resilient and strong, flying tremendous distances every day. In Native North American culture, hummingbirds are seen as healers and bringers of love, good luck and joy. In Central America, they are a sign of love and will bring love to the person who spots them. Hummingbirds alone can fly moving their wings in the pattern of an infinity symbol (the figure 8). Hummingbirds also symbolize great courage, determination, flexibility, and adaptability. Ruby-throated hummingbirds are the only ones we have in Quebec. These Hummingbirds were based on photos by Photo references from photographers@anais_trepanier_photo, Larry Lafleur, Claudine Ascher and my own observations of Red Monard (BeeBalm)
